Bamboo Collection consists of teapots that are highly specialized in craftsmanship and uniquely artistic in looks. The teapot’s body is hand-carved into intricate 'bamboo threads.' Through multiple procedures, the bamboo strips are crafted with uniform thickness and an interwoven texture, mimicking real bamboo weaving.

The Han Duo (漢鐸) teapot is one of the classic forms in Yixing teapot design, inspired by an ancient Chinese musical instrument. Its bell-shaped body is symmetrical and well-proportioned, with smooth transitions between lines and surfaces. The flat-fitted lid integrates seamlessly with the body, and the column-shaped knob is topped with fine concentric lines. The spout is distinctively shaped like a fish’s mouth, while the squared, tubular handle lends an archaic touch to the overall form.

This bamboo edition is crafted from aged Wuni clay from Huanglong Mountain, one of our signature premium clays.

Yixing is renowned not only for its Zisha teapots but also for its abundance of bamboo, making it no surprise that 'bamboo weaving' techniques are often showcased on Yixing teapots. Bamboo-weaving Yixing teapots are entirely crafted by artisans using nothing more than a carving knife, meticulously sculpting the 'bamboo threads' bit by bit. The process demands absolute focus and can only be undertaken when the artisan is in optimal physical and mental condition, as the slightest mistake could cause the 'bamboo threads' to break, rendering all previous efforts wasted. Such intricate craftsmanship is truly a 'ballet on the edge of a blade.' It is, therefore, no exaggeration to call the bamboo-weaving teapot the Rolex of all Yixing teapots.
