Bamboo Yu Run Yixing Teapot

Bamboo Collection consists of teapots that are highly specialized in craftsmanship and uniquely artistic in looks. The teapot’s body is hand-carved into intricate 'bamboo threads.' Through multiple procedures, the bamboo strips are crafted with uniform thickness and an interwoven texture, mimicking real bamboo weaving.

The Yu Run (雨潤) teapot is is a creative Yixing form characterized by its low, rounded body and finely textured surface. Horizontal carved lines wrap around the body in even layers, creating a rhythmic pattern that recalls rain gently soaking the earth. A band of raised detailing encircles the shoulder, while the lid echoes the same carved texture and is finished with a compact, sculpted knob. The short spout and rounded handle are proportioned to match the body.
