Genuine gold powder is added during firing creates a unique iridescent pattern while preserving breathability. Each teapot's finish varies by clay type and firing conditions.

The earliest record of the Dragon Egg (龍蛋) teapot dates back to the Ming Dynasty, where it was first mentioned by Grand Master Shi Dabin in the "Yangxian Teapot Ode." The name "Dragon Egg" comes from its shape, with an overall contour resembling an elongated oval, much like a dragon's egg.

This edition is crafted from Lvni (綠泥) clay, renowned for its exceptional breathability among all Yixing clays.
